Was just watching some of his recent game highlights on youtube and he is crazy. Him playing against other high school kids looks absolutely ridiculous and he is only a junior. Total freak. I have heard Duke is in good shape but has anyone else heard anything of substance regarding him? Also hear he might wanna stay close to home and end up at Clemson. Hope not but if he does at least he wouldn't be at UK.

Personally, I think it would be in his best interest to wear a lighter shade of blue in college. ;)

I'm curious to see if Zion and Reddish would play together. Or if Duke gets one will the other go somewhere else

Check out some of the ridiculous stuff in this one. Must be a small school with fans just standing around the court like it is a playground.

Duke can use him like they did with Winslow, and draft-position wise that didn't work out so badly for him did it? At 6'7", Williamson would be an ideal fit in Duke's system as a 3 or 4 depending on the opposing lineup.

I saw him play in November he played in Washington Illinois at a tournament called The Tournament of Champions. The kid is unreal. Possibly the best high school player I have ever seen play in person and I saw Jahlil in the state championship games. Also saw Kevin Garnett play in high school. Zion is a freak!

Definitely talented, but I look like this when I play my 8yr old nephew. Like someone else said want to see him against someone with the same size and talent before crowning him the next big thing.

No you don't. You are not doing crazy windmill and 360 dunks unless you are playing that 8 year old on his Nerf hoop. In the post just above yours duhondukie said he saw him play in some big tournament and he was unreal. No idea why everyone is trying to minimize how good he is

Pisgah101, you might want to check this schedule out. He played at Asheville Christian Academy a few weeks ago. According to his schools website the game in January is at Spartanburg day, not ACA. I think Maxpreps has it listed wrong. I watched him play a few weeks ago and he is unreal. It would be worth the drive to Spartanburg to see him play.

If you get a chance to see this kid in person do it! He is on another level. I have seen some great high school players live like Josh Smith, Mike Beasley, Ty Lawson, John Wall, etc, but none of them looked as good as this kid at that stage. I don't care who the competition is, you can't teach raw athleticism like that. I know he will only play one year in college but it sure would be nice if that was at Duke. Here is a video from the game I was at here in Asheville. Check out the duke at the 1:04 mark. He took off way out and dunked over a 6 10" guy like nothing.

Check out the dunk at :54. Like I said, you can't teach that!

This one would really hurt to lose to duke, Roy has prioritized him more than any recruit in recent years I think. Our sad recruiting streak has to end sometime, right???

I am pretty sure. I don't see why they would play twice at ACA. You could just call the school and ask them. He is playing at a Christmas tournament Dec 28-30. They play each day. It as at Dorman High which is not a bad drive from Haywood County. Trust me, it is worth it. You wont see a another player like this around WNC maybe ever.

Zion is a beast....and a special talent. Hopefully some handlers get involved with him so he doesn't go to UNC. Roy don't deal with handlers.

I thought he was a one and done. hof coach roy williams doesn't recruit one and dones either. No one and dones, know handlers but hof roy williams still gets those great, great players which leaves "nanner puddin" which in my opinion should be a recruiting violation but it is unc of course and they are special. Trust me he is the real deal. He could play against any high school team in America and still be dominant. The games I have seen him play he was barely trying and still got 40. He would be scary if he was going 100%. What I like the most about him is his attitude. He barely ever runs his mouth and just plays. He is the typical Duke type player. I will be a fan as long as he does not sign for UK or UNC. Can't pull for those guys no matter what!
