Yeah this comment does not surprise me one bit. Seems like the only people who cared this year were Moultrie, Bost, and Hood.

That said, I'd be 100% shocked if he came back. He'd only hurt his draft stock in my opinion.

I am curious where he will be projected. NBAdraft.net has him projected to be the 6th overall pick, and I think that is absurd. I think he is a mid first rounder at best, and to be honest, I think he is a late first rounder. He struggles when he puts the ball on the floor. He could definitely improve his jumper. Most other mock drafts have him projected around the 20th-25th spot. I couldnt believe the nbadraft.net projection of 6.

I thought he played with a lot of heart this year.

Bost, Steele, Bryant, Hood and Moultrie are our most effective 5 playing together this year. They are the guys that brought us back tonight. I know that is a small lineup but we should have played that group together much more this year and kept Sid and Lewis more on the bench.

and is for most games. I do know we were losing by double digits until we stuck with that lineup. Definitely would be better to have another big in there if Sid and Lewis weren't such screwups.

could hold Phil Turner's jock strap when it comes to defense or rebounding, either. They might be better offensive players than Turner, but I don't think it's an M-State urban legend that Phil Turner could get in the grill of almost anyone 1-5 defensively.

He is a late first rounder at best IMO. Im just shocked that nbadraft.net has him projected as the 6th pick in the first round. That is laughable.

And they all ran the floor. I believe they only played one guy that weighed more than about 210 lbs. Not the same thing as going up against UK, Tenn, OM, etc.

Moultrie's not a good enough defender to do this. Our past teams had Jarvis protecting the rim, so we could get by doing that. However, I wouldn't have hated the idea of doing that in a game where we were down double digits in the second half and needed to make a run, such as tonight. But that's probably the only time.

It's accuracy is terrible. I'm not even saying it got the 18th pick wrong so it sucks...I'm saying it has people in the 1st who don't get drafted, people who don't declare are still listed, and they currently have 3 foreigners! Only 3.
Other sites actually interview players. Other sites actually go to and video workouts and combines. Other sites actually use stats adjusted for pace to compare individuals within their draft position. Other sites actually have a deep database to compare current draft picks to previous year picks.

That site is a joke. Coach has pimped it for all it's worth in his ad naus argument that we have a handful of draft picks on this team.
