The Redturds are in the second round of the FCS playoffs at home while the Cougars host a semifinal game in the NAIA playoffs for the first time in school history today. Also UW Whitewater is in the D3 semifinals and that team features a ton of Illinois kids on the roster as well.

St X got it handed to them by Southern Oregon, 62-37
They'll be tough next year. Coach Fem has a young group over there.

Yah that would be cool - a defecto MVC title game since they tied for the league crown but didn't play each other. Good luck to the Red Birds!

Redbirds looked good today. Several goodlooking FBS school (IU, Ohio State, Oregon, etc.) transfers on roster. Suspect they will give ndsu a game. Would be a huge win for isu.

Birds are looking good - they mix some great transfers (as mentioned above) with some kids who got overlooked and could easily play FBS. They lose some great OL players and a lot of their receivers next year (O'Shanaughsee, Neblett, Meredith, Kuehn) but return their QBs (Roberson and backup Winkler) and primary RBs (Coprich and Towns).

Its great to see a team with a ton of Illinois bred players on the roster too.
