Good rpi win tonight. Exactly what we had to do.

Only downer was the poor outing by Cox. 4 runs on 5 hits in an inning and a third. 2 K's, 2 walks. Looks like the third rotation spot goes to Pollo. At least I hope it does. Our extremely deep staff we thought we had is dwindling quickly. But a really nice win regardless.

I agree with everything you said in regards to pitching. And it is obvious that we need Porter in the lineup...he gives us another home run threat. I have been saying it for a while, but I'll say it again...
we need to have Detz BEHIND Renfroe AND Rea. If Cohen wants to mix up the lefties and righties, he can do something like this....

I personally would still like to see Detz at 2B and Norris at 3rd...but Pirtle's bat has improved a little. Still not as good as Norris's bat, but his glove is really solid. I could live with tonight's lineup.
