The guy and his family may be corrupt as hell, and if UCLA and USC were funneling money, that's their problem. Seems State wouldn't have anything to do with it.

So the only thing you have to worry about is whether or not he can still be considered an amateur.

Sidney is originally from Mississippi. Its not that much of a 17ing stretch that State could have gotten him after the other two backed off and anything that happened in LA with Sid and family is almost 100% likely to be part of USC and UCLA's doings. Not State.

What these idiot's also don't realize and I wish our admin had mentioned when we announced the signing, is that the Ninja called the NC2A and basically said, "Hey, we've got a chance to sign this kid. We want to know up front if there will be a problem with us if we do this".

The outcome should let everyone know what the answer to that question was.

"Bad things happen. Did they happen with Renardo Sidney? I have no idea. But if they did, they didn't happen under Mississippi State's watch.

By signing Sidney, the Bulldogs are basically hoping to win the lottery."

It's a win win for us and Sidney, to hell with the LA Times, USC & UCLA...</p>

said something like "Top Tier power forwards don't choose Mississippi State. Come on MSU fans, admit it."

I'd say that Jonathan Bender, Mario Austin, Travis Outlaw, and Lawrence Roberts might disagree. Now you can add Sidney to the mix. The amount of cluelessness around the country is mind-blowing at times.
