Their hatred for Stansbury is so much that they just make up **** to show how bad of a coach he is. Florida has 3 McDonald's All-Americans on their roster. You probably don't even know this, you're just throwing **** up against the wall in order to make a point about Stansbury. It's beyond pathetic.
You telling me those 3 are more talented right NOW than Sid, Moultrie and Bost? If so, you are beyond pathetic.
UF made the Elite 8 last year and returned nearly everyone. We lost on the road to a really good team and got zero calls.
Moutrie didn't have the great game we needed to have a chance to win. Sidney provided nothing in the 2nd half. This game isn't on Stansbury at all.

Sure we have a talented team but damn I think some on here think we should be giving the Miami Heat a run for their money if not for Stansbury. Florida is alwaysloaded with talent and that same "so-so" coach has beaten Donovan 4 out of the last 6 times.</p>

Florida has a lottery pick (Beal) and at least one more first rounder in Patric Young. Add to that Erving Walker who is very good point guard and will be drafted. While they are better coached (there are few that are as good as Donovan), to say they have less talent than us is just dumb.

They build up the talent of this team to Kentucky like levels. That way if we lose, it's got to be Stansbury's fault because there is no way this collection of NBA lottery picks we have could ever lose a game on their own. We are a very good team, the type of team that will probably be a top6 seed and have a very good chance to make the Sweet 16. But Jesus, to say we have more talent than Florida? That's just ignorant.
You are way off. Both Beal and Walker are better than Bost and Patric Young is 10x better than Sid is right now.
Do these three names mean anything to you: Chandler Parsons, Alex Tyus, Vernon Macklin? Three of Florida's top scorers from last year, and also their three best rebounders. Parsons was their go to guy most of the time. Y'all can carry on with your pissing match all day but at least make an attempt to use facts.

Tell me how Bost has the clear edge over Beal and Walker? You, like to many others, are too simple and only pay attention to points per game.
Walker controls the game from the point guard position. He has a better assist to turnover ratio and shoots the ball waayyy better. I think Bost is a good player, but to me the shooting percentage alone makes Walker the better player. If he played the same amount of minutes as Bost he would likely average about the same amount of points.
There is a reason Beal is considered a lottery pick in most NBA mock drafts and Bost isn't even considered a 2nd rounder, because he is better, ditto for Patric Young (top 20 pick) vs. Sidney. Give me the guy who can play 27 minutes a game and average 11.5 points, play DEFENSE and shoot 64% from the field. Next???
ETA: Also, don't forget about Kenny Boyton. He had a terrible game today, but he average 18 points a game, and shoots around 50% from the field and 45% from the three. He too is better than Bost.

Unfortunately Sidney is only tapping into about a quarter of his talent because he only plays about a quarter of the time he is in there and he is only in there half the time. After our starters, they have us very overmatched. And Stansbury is not a "so-so" coach. We ran the screen and watch offense. It didn't work. So we kept running it. We didn't get Sidney to the post one time. Any below average college coach would have done both of those things. We are too thin right now to beat Florida.
