Texas in all likelihood and UT would've played Miam with the winner having to beat us twice........Who was this douchebag?

in my old age......Brantley and Morgan were obviously 1 and 2.......Was it Trent Intorcia or Will McRaney? Someone else?

McRaney also pitched a good deal, but I think he was more a midweek starter and a releiver on the weekends. Intorcia was gone by then. Think he was probably on the 81 CWS team (could be wrong about that though).

Edit: It was Steve King, not Jeff King. Jeff King played against us in that CWS for Arkansas.

Other ones I can think of:
Hopson
Freddie Milons
The white guard from Baylor
Kennedy from Alabama
Jay Barker
Cam Newton
C.J. Johnson
many UK basketball players

I remembered Steve King being a reliever, not a starter. I knew Steve. Our dorm rooms in Hightower were just a few rooms apart on the same hall. Steve's first roommate later became my roommate and friend throughout my time at State.<div>
</div><div>I was trying to look up Steve, and one thing I found on Google was:</div><div>

</div><div>That thread happened a few months before I joined SPS. Pretty cool for a sixpacker to run into him at an away game.</div><div>
</div><div>Steve was smart---he was a Computer Engineering Major, and they had just started that program up.</div><div>

I've ever been at an opposing player. I wanted to see Mullen decapitate Jones after he did what he did to Fletcher.

The player that gets under my skin the most, without question, is Cam Newton. Every time I see the Under Armour commercial of him training I have to resist the urge to combine my television with the remote.

Honorable Mention: Jeff Taylor- I just think he is a big douche.

Everybody else, you could count on him choking at the last minute. When I started rooting for him as a Saint, he pulled the same crap he pulled at OM....scrambling around for a hundred yards, only to throw an interception, or getting sacked (why lose 2 yards when you could lose 10?), or arguing with the ref or coach about every little thing.

Just when I thought his breaking my heart on third and long bull **** was behind us he shows up on the Basketball court playing lock down D and snagging scag rebounds like it was going out of style.<div>
</div><div>Close second is Stewart Patridge. Damn guy hardly ever made a mistake.

I just can't make myself hate a guy for making a good play or playing well against us.

The opposing players I despised most were the ones who were pricks, left us standing at the altar, blatant cheaters, or were jerks for whatever reason.

That's why Fourcade is the top of my list.

Dishonorable mention would be guys like C Newton, Cousins/Wall, Melvin Turpin, and Scotty Hopson to name a few although I really haven't spent much time thinking about any of them.

May have only been one year, and they didn't even win the NC, but no basketball players have ever had my blood boiling the way they did.

Or the Florida Gator whose helmet went into Sleepy's knee. It wasn't a dirty hit. Just a ghost reaching up from the burial ground at Scott Field to keep us out of Atlanta.

He made me so mad watching that game. Anything he threw toward the basket would not only go in but was all net.
