He just seems to be the best 'grinder' out there now in my opinion.

US opens are not about the most talent, best putter, long game or anything like that. They are about patience and not putting up big numbers while the rest of the field does.

Used to think that Goosen was one of the best in the world at that. Harrington is pretty good at grinding too.

Ughhhh, maybe not. Not in it. Picking the winner is almost impossible with Tiger sucking. So I will go with Phil.

if duvall made it in, i think he makes a run @ it. if not going with one of the young guns. the 20 yr. old from ireland or the 21 yr. old out of osu.

I got Harrington, Mahan, Kuchar, Scott and Crane in my office pool.

I obviously have a good feeling about all of them.

The british definitely rewards a different lynx style skill - fight wind and play bump and runs. This U.S. open is looking like the british as hard as these green are.
