He was overpowering in that inning. And he was doing a good job of locating and keeping the ball down. I certainly see why Todd thinks he'll be the closer of the future and why he might take it before the end of this season. I still would like to see him develop a true off-speed 3rd pitch to go with his fastball and power slider. If could master something like a change or a slow 6-12 curve, he'd be absolutely devastating. Just something to slow the bats down a little so they can't sit on his 2 power pitches. But I'm sure Cohen & Co are already thinking about that. It'll come with time and will probably be his offseason assignment.
