who is a middle tier donor, so he has some "in the know". Has a suite with about 10 other guys. Says we are gonna be upset along with bama folks because he got a call, from someone who would know that Scam is clear. Im sure is b.s., just passing along how they continue to bury their heads.

I just have a gut feeling that the Bishop will go down somehow and he will say that Cam did not know about it. The problem lies where Cam is reported saying that the money was just too much.

If that happens and the NCAA doesn't punish Cam and/or Auburn for that, then that just opens to flood gates for programs to start buying off parents. As long as "the recruit doesn't know", then what would it matter? That would be an awful example to set...

Philip Marshall says he expects an NCAA decision soon, but he doesn't know if that will be good news or bad news. I've heard from several AU people that they think this will be over this week, and most of them believe Cam will be cleared (of course).

I think the first phase of this will end before the Iron Bowl. The "first phase" is whether anything occurred during MSU's recruitment of Cam that effects his eligibility at Auburn. While there is some question about what transpired between Cecil and Kenny Rogers, I think the real question is more of a legal interpretation of the NCAAs rules. So, the NCAA should be able to act very quickly.

Then comes the dreaded second phase. Is there enough information there for the NCAA to launch an investigation into Auburn's recruitment of Cam????

if Cecil didn't tell Cam. He is his father, they can't open that loophole. They will rule Cam ineligible if Cecil really admitted to asking for money weather they can prove Cam knew or not.

This was one of the arguments that Donald Jackson was making. He did say that the NCAA may go and change the rule so this could not happen in the future. If I had to chose I would rather have Cecil in criminal problems than Cam just being ineligible. Cecil is the real one that 17ed us in the first place.

so I don't think anyone that has talked with the feds is leaking ****.

Notice how everyone has shut their 17ing mouths? No Bond, No Rogers, No Cecil, Nobody from MSU or Auburn. They've talked with the feds, and are following the advice of STFU.

..e-mail your Auburn buddy back & tell him on behalf of John Bond & the MSU family, we sincerely apologize for wasting Auburn's time.

Relay to him we sincerely regret all the inconvenience we have caused Auburn throughout this trumped up crisis.

Lastly, tell your Auburn bud that Auburn nation has endured this unforgiveable affront to their football program with the utmost calm, maturity & class.
