Back in the early days of Mississippi State message boards there was a poster named NYOperaDawg. Does the Mayor of New York really have that much authority? Most mayors are just a glorified custodian, janitor, groundskeeper. Regardless, the basic theory of democracy is that the votors get the government that they deserve. It should be fun to watch.
