You could smell the money burning on screen that episode. I don't want this show to end. Not every episode is as good as that but they can't be. And No way Jaime is dead. I liked it better when Tyrion was a smartass made of teflon. I still don't like Sansa. Dragging out Jon finding out his parentage is killing me. I thought he was about to go all Hugh Freeze on Dany in that cave...

Great episode. The battle was freaking awesome. Watching Sansa's face when Arya was training was priceless. She had to be hoping she was not on A Girl's list.

That was a great freaking episode. Bran is crazy, a girl is an assasin, snow and fire...works, jamie falls in the deepest puddle of all time while trying to add queen slayer to his resume....just full of awesome.

Bran saying that line...

..to Littlefinger. Chaos is a ladder. That's the line Littlefinger told Varys in season 3 episode The Climb. Littlefinger's reaction is great.

So so many payoffs in this episode.

:edit to correct episode

I think the dragons will spill the beans on Jon's dad. Rhagon is going to somehow end up with Jon on his back and the gig will be up. Only a Targaryen can ride a dragon. Bran knows too but he's being such a hipster **** that he can't tell anyone else until he tells Jon himself.

If Bran tells others and they believe him then Jon loses all his power. The North follows Jon cause they think he's a Stark. They won't follow a Targaryen.

Dany and Jon SHOULD NOT hook up. It does nothing for the story line and Dany is Jon's aunt.. Cersei/Jamie is enough incest for the show.

The north doesn't care THAT much about lineage, especially if they're willing to crown a bastard.

But in GOT fraternal parentage counts for more than maternal.

Def true, just hoping they have some sensibility since he would still have Stark blood. I really just want Arya to murder everyone and the series to end with her on the Iron Throne. Far fetched but she has been my favorite character for a while.

But they think he's Ned Stark"s bastard son not Rhaegar Targaryen's bastard son. Maybe they would accept that he's half Stark but I think they'd feel they had been lied to and start questioning Jon's loyalties especially if he bends the knee to Dany.

DO NOT WATCH if you haven't seen the episode. Also NSFW or Lannister soldiers.

Season 1: Cersei had all of Robert's bastards killed so they couldn't come and claim the throne in the event that Joffrey was outed as being Jaime's biological son.

In season 1, Cersei didn't even know it had happened. Tyrion realized that when he accused her of it. That was all Joffrey.

Fair enough. It was six years ago, so I could have misremembered. Sometimes I forget Cersei's gotten progressively more bloodthirsty and ruthless as the seasons have gone on.

Original point remains though, that a male bastard could have potentially ascended under the right circumstances.

I thought Cersei was involved because looking for Robert's bastards is what got John Arryn killed.

Which also in no way involved Cersei...

Sansa's "she killed my mother, brother, and father" speech is starting to make sense now given the amount of credit Cersei seems to be getting in the story for things she actually didn't do. Regardless of how big of a CAB she is...

Little Finger trying to stir the pot by call Bran Lord Stark, but Bran already knows. Arya put Little Finger on her list. Brianne and Sansa know how dangerous Arya is now.

I think John Arryn was killed because he found out Robert wasn't the father of any of the Lannister kids.

That makes Lysa Arryn one loyal Lannister**

No -- Jon Arryn's snooping was a red herring for what was really going on. A chaos latter.
