Next episode, my prediction: Missandei dies (GW lives), Beric dies, Gendry dies, Brienne dies, Jorah dies, Edd dies, Gillie dies, Theon dies, Jamie might, but NK kills Bran, calls off rest of battle and heads towards KL with AotD. Survivors head towards Dragonstone. I don't think character arcs are finished for Arya, Jon, Dany, Tyrion, Varys, Davos, Sam, the Hound. Not sure on Tormund.

I think Dany dies at the hands of Jon Snow and Azor Ahai is born.
Nothing would make me happier, I hate that *****, I haven't like her from the beginning. Although, now that HBO is now in charge of writing I see her as wining the GAME!!! "#METOO"

I guess I’m the only one that thinks a large part of the dead army including the night king bypasses Winterfell and attacks Kings Landing first (2 fronts) and he doesn’t come for Bran immediately...

That was the consensus of our watch party last night until we watched the previews for next week.

this is why i think people that are complaining about the last two episodes and the writing have no clue what the 17 they are talking about. lot's of foreshadowing and undertones all over the place. I've thought some of the plugs the through in were great.

I understand what they are going for, I'm simply saying last night's episode felt like a 40 minute episode that was stretched into 60 minutes. There were some good moments, such as Tormund's story, but some scenes carried on a little too long and pacing was all over the place because of it.

The next 4 episodes I'm sure are going to be great but last night just wasn't in my opinion and it's not necessarily their fault. GoT has always been a major production but this is uncharted grounds for TV and for the most part they've handled it great; but now you're turning over the reigns for storytelling entirely to people who haven't spent the last 30 years world building and developing these characters.

In writing there is concept called "voice". The words chosen in writing are tools to convey a character's outlook, likes, dislikes, background, etc. Because there is a lack of source material, the writers are putting together dialog based on what they think these characters would say. When this happens, you end up with characters who all sound the same because you are writing about what you think they would say in the moment instead of who these characters truly are. The further the writers get away from the source material, the more often it happens and last night much of the dialog came off as fanfiction.

The fireplace scene was incredible. The 10 year old nursing on a giants bosom for three months had me rolling. I watched that three times.

Dany looks unsettled.

Watching her commit mass murder was cool but seeing her rounding third and headed for home was the bridge too far?

The opening credits give some good insight on what may happen the next few weeks.

That’s an interesting theory, and it’s just the kind of swerve that GoT likes to throw at its viewers. It also makes sense because they’re going to need to weave Cersei into this whole thing pretty quickly, and if they burn the next two hours on the Winterfell battle, time will be running out.

Very rarely do I ever wish for a weekend to be over, but Sunday night can’t get here soon enough this week

I think Ser Bronn of the Blackwater survives... and starts Westeros' first Britpop band:

In this pic you see the trenches starting around Winterfell before Episode 1. Then.. before Episode 2 you see them finished. The opening credits are crazy good...

The Hound and his brother have a date in the arena. The Clegane Bowl must go on! And I think you are right about Dragonstone. Youtuber took Ep3 preview frame by frame and noticed Dany sitting in front of the hearth at Dragonstone. Also, a frame where Winterfell is consumed in flames. I do agree we will see a **** ton of characters die Sunday night. I can see Tormund dying saving Brienne. And I think Jaime looks to be outmatched by a few wights and Bron shows up to save his ***. After the battle while fleeing to Dragonstone Bron tells Jaime and Tyrion that Cersei sent him to kill both of them but she didn't offer him a effing castle so he won't do it.
