Gotta give it to Collins again. He called a hell of a game.

zero offensive td's surrendered against a potent sec offense. the arky game was meh in my mind, but collins showed he could coach at a high level against a great team and backed it up with the performance last night. great finish by collins and i can certainly say that he has earned my support....not that he has to earn anything from me...im just some internet schlub.

now, our sp teams coach needs a stern talking to from mullen**

Collins and our D have improved big time...especially vs Bama and Bears

I'm also really pleased with the progression De'Shea has implemented with our DB's. They have gotten better on a consistent basis. Can't wait to see our guys continue to progress in the future. I think we will be really stout on D next year. Still enjoying last night though.....great win.

Safe to say it was Mayhem out there last night. I agree, Redmond is going to be the real deal. Our D next year will be vicious

great point. the biggest improvement has been in the secondary. its like night and day with that unit even with the injuries accounted for and deshea is a huge part of that. turner should also get some love.

chris jones is an absolute monster.

Speaking of Redmond

any word on how he's doing after taking that knee to the head?

Glad to hear it.

I thought he'd gotten a concussion from that hit.

Yeah

welcome to the party. A little slow, but you saw the light. What exactly was "meh" against Arkansas? The 7 points surrendered in the second half (they avg 26 average ppg on the year)? The only games where they scored less were @UF, @UA, and USC. We also held them under their total YPG average. The only games where they gave up less were @UF, @UA, @Rutgers, and USC. The three turnovers? The 8 TFL? They did have a slight (7%) advantage on their rushing ypg for the season, but given that they're the third best rushing team in the league that's not that crazy.

Potent SEC offense my ***. In SEC games, they're 9th in scoring offense at 24.3 points per game, just ahead of us at 10th and 23.1 PPG. In total offense, they're 7th to our 9th. They're a good offense, but there are a lot better in the SEC this year.

T. Calhoun is progressing to be pretty darn good. For you older Dawgs, He reminds me a lot of Ashley Cooper in his aggressive play.
