There is violence everyday. I am talking about political violence as is the purpose of this entire thread. Now, you are on a tangent. Provide proof that I did not state facts?

And I can point to left violence (non political) just as you can point to righty violence.

But stay on point.
And the Tea Party never got violent either did they?

I don't, I support Trump and nationalist/populists/liberty movement, why don't you. You'd rather turn us into Venezuela I assume.

I'm a Kentuckian, bring it on pipsqueak.
Well, I'll respect your equal (?) disgust of both parties then. I seek change, to be sure, but I do not want business to run free unchecked, and I want a government that focuses on health, education, and opportunity above most else.

You just don't want to give Trump the chance to do that then? Hillary was toxic and Bernie was an idiot, sooo...

I don't think Sanders is an idiot. I'm trying to give Trump a chance, but he is just.....trying.....at least for someone like me. Education, the environment, diplomacy....he's just very opposite of me. And those things I can deal with, but the ego and lies are just too much!

the environment

AGW is ******** and the science says so if you get past the pseudoscience that is reported in the media. The EPA is going to focus on its real mission which is keeping our waterways and air clean, I don't have a problem with this at all.

Education

Is broken and has been for a while. My mom got out of teaching a decade ago because she couldn't stand the ******** and it's only gotten worse in my experience as a parent of grade schoolers. And teachers unions are a huge part of the problem by giving cover to bad teachers and bad policy to protect it's own financial interests. There's a video of one of their lawyers outright saying this at some big convention back in the early '10's.

And those things I can deal with, but the ego and lies are just too much!

You don't understand what he's doing then, you have to pay attention to what he is getting done not how he acts. The act is a show for the idiots on the left to REEEEEEE about while he is getting things done.

You provide a left-wing publication who can't be trusted in any fashion and post that article aa legitimate? We only lost over 3000 Americans on 9/11. Why don't you provide a statement from the director of homeland security stating that right wing groups or more dangerous than Islamic terrorists in the United States.

I think the police officers across this country that I've been assassinated this past year would disagree.

I'm not getting into this he said/she said crap. It's pointless. Radical elements on both sides do stupid, violent things - from Dylan Roof to the antifa idiots. One is taking people's lives, another assaulting people and destroying property. This isn't a nation of radical elements. This is a nation where the majority live somewhere well in between the lines of those radical elements. I don't excuse the actions of the radicals in any way. My concern is when someone who was just elected as a representative can't control his temper.

One of the Fox reporters in an interview said that the statement released by the campaign was incorrect in every way except in the spelling of his name. I'm less concerned now that the guy has accepted responsibility and apologized to all involved. That was the right thing to do. It would have been a better first reaction though - not releasing a bogus statement trying to cover his rear. I expect my representatives to have flaws - they're human. I'm willing to forgive people for mistakes. I'm less willing to do that when they go to CYA mode right away. Maybe I'm the exception here.

You've completely change the subject of this thread. This thread was all about political violence. Not violence of the left or right that everyone can denounce but political violence. There is no question the left has engaged in far more than the right.

Well, let's just narrow it down to violence in opposition to Trump over the last six months then....facts

You just won't admit-the left has engaged and far more political violence than the right. Even under your narrow definition, the left has engaged and far more anti-Trump political violence. Ever heard of antifa?

So you do admit that right-wing groups pose as serious of a threat as terrorism?

I was being sarcastic, it would make sense that there is more violence from the left over the last 6 months, due to a GOP elected President whose loud mouth barks incendiary extremes that insights protest, which sadly turns violent. It's NOT Trump's fault, he's doing what he was elected to do, but to narrow the frame of this debate to "modern political" violence.....you're just seeking to make "facts" fit your narrative. Just like AC

Lets look back further at political violence. Do you remember the riots of '68? The violent protests during Viet Nam. The violent protests over G7 meetings.

The left riots and protests, frequently violent, far more than the right.

You posted this asking for a longer time period. Don't you read your own posts?

That was when I brought up Oklahoma City and racist violence in the South, to which you said....I'm talking about "modern political" violence. Don't you read your own posts? Only rightwing groups are listed as a serious threat to the nation and law enforcement by the DHS and the FBI.

End of this conservation is an acceptance that violence is wrong. Left or right....it's wrong, it stifles American values, it is not mature, it is not valid....,this man was wrong. We don't need to compare which side is worse. All acts of violence are wrong.

The point of this entire thread was political violence. You will not admit an obvious fact, the left engages in it far more than the right.

Trumps current head of homeland security said that ISIS is the greatest threat to our national security.
