What I Know
1. Gene Chizik is a man of the utmost integrity. There is not one situation that he would sell his own, or Auburn's, integrity for wins or glory. That includes a special player like Cam Newton.

2. The Auburn Athletic Department and especially its compliance staff are the best in collegiate athletics. Like Chizik, they are not in the business of taking chances with players or any other areas of compliance with the NCAA. If they said before the season began, after investigating the allegations brought forth to them in July, that Cam was eligible, then the young man was clear and eligible.

3. I believe that the young man I have seen representing AU this season at the quarterback position has proven to be nothing less than stellar in attitude, character, and heartfelt love for his school. I believe in Cameron Newton.

4. I believe that from everything I had read and heard up until this point, Cecil Newton is a man of great religious faith and integrity. I do not believe the smear we have heard fits the stature of the man who has taught Cameron Newton what it means to be a man.

5. That regardless of when and how AU is exonerated, the local and national bias against Auburn will never falter. Those who choose to slander Auburn will never allow for truth to get in the way of a good smear campaign.

6. I know that today, just as with every other day since 1985, I believe in Auburn, and love it.

THE AUBURN CREED
I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work.

I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully.

I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.

I believe in a sound mind, in a sound body and a spirit that is not afraid, and in clean sports that develop these qualities.

I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all.

I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.

I believe in my Country, because it is a land of freedom and because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that country by "doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God."

And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.

Look, Auburn has a blatant history of crap like this.

1. Gene Chizik may very well be a man of the utmost integrity, but he's being played the fool in all of this. I have no doubt that Chizik has no specific knowledge of this. This screams Auburn penis envy over Alabama having some success. Someone went to an Auburn version of John Bond, possibly Pat Dye himself, and where John Bond called Greg Byrne, Pat Dye called the equal of the Piggly Wiggly and made sure the Juicy Jumbo case was large enough. It was done and on signing day, Chizik thought he had successfully recruited a Heisman winner. Chizik is clean.

2. Again, I have no doubt that the Auburn compliance staff knew nothing of this until it was reported to them in July. They did what they could and found no hard evidence. Just rumors and cleared Newton to play. The problem arose just in the past month - the guns started to smoke, but it was too late to pull him off the field. Now that the story has broken (was not expected until after the season, but the NYT and ESPN caught wind that Veazey was about to break it ), there are more questions than ever.

3. Again, I believe most of this is on Cecil, but its hard for me to believe that Cam knew nothing of his father's wrongdoing.

4. I take offense to this one. Cecil Newton is a greedy, piece of **** human being. He pastors a Black Liberation Theology church (look up what they believe). that is not exactly part what I call a man of faith. He pimped his son around. He knew exactly what he was doing. The findings from LSU fans completely show that.

5. Auburn will not be exonerated. They will receive at least what USC received - two year bowl ban, five years probation. It will be as bad as the Ramsey deal in the early 90s. Maybe worse. The NCAA doesnt do the TV ban thing anymore.

6. Good for you, buddy.

We believe in one Cecil, the Father, the Almighty, maker ofCam and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Cameron Newton, the only Son of Cecil, eternally begotten of Cecil, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with Cecil. ThroughCecil all things were made. For us men and our salvationCam came down from heaven: by the power of Pat Dye,Cam was torn from the MSU bulldogs, and became HEISman. For our sakeCam was crucified under John Bond; He suffered, cried, and was suspended. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: Cam ascended intoHall of Fameand is seated at the right hand of Cecil. He will come again in glory to judge Auburn's quarterbacks, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in Pat Dye, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from Cecil and Cam. With Cecil and Cam,Pat Dyeis worshiped and glorified.Pat Dyehas spoken through the Agents. We believe in one, slimy, crooked, and shady Auburn football program. We acknowledge onepayment for the purchase of players. We look for the second coming of Cameron Newton, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

/i know this is probably ghey but i couldn't help it
//must be the joy i am getting from auburn's stupidity

Do you mean the stellar young man who said this, "If it was up to me, I would still want to be at Florida," Newton said earlier this week. "My heart is still at Florida because of the long-lasting relationships I have with my teammates there. Leaving them was the hardest part."
