Read in a thread that Clarke County opened up and needs a game. Roughly 4.5 hours driving time between the two towns of Bluefield and Berryville. It would also feature a Virginia Preps top 5 matchup with number 1 ranked Graham versus number 5 ranked Clarke County.
Now that's an idea and to add insult to injury they should play at Stuarts Draft
From what I've gathered from reading some on swvasports, there isn't any knocking the GMen on effort to play. I understand about 6 schools have been a no go for the Gmen. As good as Graham has looked at times this year, I can't say I blame those schools.
Graham was unable to find an opponent for this week. Perhaps they can schedule somebody on a tuesday or something later in the season. They did in fact reach out to a number of schools in the area with no luck. On a positive note, they will have extra time to prepare for Bluefield next friday, but Bluefield is open this week too.
