A real standup guy, and true Granite Bear Fan for Life, is having a serious (but usually not life threating) surgery tomorrow. Would appreciate, and I know he would, any thoughts and prayers that could go his way. He is hoping to be recovered enough for the second preseason workout at George Wythe (Va) scrimmage day the Friday before the season starts.

Brian got home yesterday, 3 days later than first expected, but in good spirits if not ready to run any sprints yet.
Thanks to all who kept him in mind, and expect he will be ready come first game to be in the stands and tailgating with us August 22 at home when Starmount comes calling!
