If you let Slive **** on us and we go to the Music City Bowl a la Peach in 1999, you are no better than LT in my book, and I loathe LT. There are four scenarios for tomorrow.

Outback Bowl - you are awesome
Chick-fil-A Bowl - you did your job.
Gator Bowl - neutral
Music City Bowl - you suck.

If we end up in Nashville, I wouldn't blame Mullen if he left for Minnesota.

What would you do as AD to make the bowl pick State? They are going to do what they are going to do.

If we get screwed over, it won't be Stricklin's fault. I can guarantee you that he isn't just sitting idly by - he's working the phones like mad. But, in the end, he can't control who the bowls pick.

They key to me isn't so much the Outback Bowl as it is possibly the Gator picking Tennessee over us. That's who would be directly screwing us - not the Outback Bowl.

and never has been. We have proven ourselves to be a fanbase who travels to bowl games already. If we get snubbed it will be about perceived TV ratings and the so called "notoriety" or prestige of the program they are inviting. If we do get screwed over we have primarily the last 10 years of ineptness to blame.

Bull if Greg were still our AD they would not screw us Scott needs to be vocal now and not lay down he has more say than you think. He Needs to be playing the game like AU did last year to go to the outback they were Close to the same shape we were are in now. I was close to that as a family member is on the board at AU and yes AD's can cut deals and they are as we speak the question is is ours doing a good job of it.

UM got the Motor City b/c their AD promised a higher number of ticket sales than LT would. AD's have pull.

Everyone thinks "travelling well" and records are what bowl committees look at....it ain't. Its just a small part of the puzzle. Their job is to get maximum exposure for the people that sponsor the event. And the fact of the matter is that not many people give a **** about watching MSU football.
