yep. All we had to do last night was throw strikes

should be up 2-0 and have the series won
Pollo himself had 8 walks. Forget frazier bradford detz... it was pitching and if Lindgren would've (could've?) gone I feel like we'd won.

I don't think it's coincidence that Graveman is our best 'contact' pitcher. Whoever toes the rubber tomorrow need to take a lesson. Keep it down in the zone and let the swing away.

That should be a blueprint for all of our pitchers. Keep it low and throw strikes

Pollo did walk a lot but we were still in the game and should have won. If Cohen had trotted bracewell out in the 7th last night I think we win the game. Situational hitting was our biggest problem last night.

I think he can pitch in the SEC but you don't trot a true freshman out there on the road in a do or die pressure packed one run game situation like we did Gentry last night when other more proven, experienced relief pitchers are available. I mean what were we saving Bracewell for last night? He wasn't needed today and for all we know it could be a blowout early one way or the other tomorrow and he won't really be needed. As has been stated here, if we would have brought in Bracewell last night with the 3-2 lead, which we should have done STARTING the 7th, I think the percentages are extremely high that we would have won that game and already have the series win.

I somewhat agree with u on gentry. I have been thinking him and marc shelley should be our tues tandam with the more experienced people for sec play.

I would've liked to have seen Bracewell start the 7th also. Coming in with none on, he could've gone after the hitters. Plus he is a high-emotion, experienced veteran.

Not to be a "Cohen-defender" or whatever, but I think they brought Gentry in to get the ground ball for a double play. That obviously didn't happen, but Bracewell is a different type pitcher. Maybe they should've had a quicker hook after he hit the first guy.
