Anyone saying it was unintentional has an agenda. Case closed.

Talking heads who normally look for anything and everything to make a big deal about now have legitimate source material and are urging everyone to just "move on." Obvious agenda.

I dont see how they don't actually. I will say, this wasn't as glaring of a trip as the last.. And that's how it will be spun.. "he was off balance and move his legs to regain his position".. ACC might have an out..

Thing is the opposing player sort of stepped over it...if he's a little less aware and doesn't do that, he trips and is on the floor. Allen should be judged by his intentions (which was obvious) not the severity of the result.

If a player throws a haymaker in a game but doesn't land it, is it just ignored? No...you have to take the intent into consideration and it was definitely an attempted trip.

Oh I agree. If you follow my posting, I hate Duke more than most here.. to the point that I stopped faking to care when they get injured. I love the fact that immediately after BOTH of Allens trips, people on his own team suffered (K and now Jefferson).

But I do think it's not blatant enough for the ACC or Duke to do anything. The argument will (and apparently has been this morning) made that it may have been accidental.

I agree that no one is going to do anything at this point, blatant or not. Duke and K play by a different set of rules with zero accountability and the fact that Allen would even attempt to do this again shows he's fully aware of that fact.

Really don't think it was intentional. But also think Allen has some kind of automatic reflex to kick his leg out in certain situations. Strange. Maybe all the drills K has them doing where they kick out the leg to draw the bogus fouls on 3 pointers has turned into an involuntary tic.

I think they call this tic the "***** tic"
