Through the recent United Way/MSU auction, I got a chance to take a flight in the MSU Stearman Bi-plane this morning. I'm sure you all know this plane from Doc's famous pre-game flyover. We made a quick pass over the stadium before heading out over the country to play. Scott Field is looking good for tomorrow!!!
Being at the controls of that Stearman made me feel like a WWII fighter pilot. We made a landing out at Camps airport on their grass strip. I kept looking for Kate Beckinsale from "Pearl Harbor" to run out and greet me.
For you aviation guys out there, I have to say that this was by far the best flight I've ever had!!!!
