Positivity from coach? After a loss? Okay, what gives? Ray may very well end up being the best coach we've ever had in basketball but damn this is going to be a loooong year.

Stansbury left him a turd. And then injuries made that turd even smaller. You can't beat people with a small turd. People are going to have to be patient and give this guy some time to see of he can do anything.

Wendell Lewis wtf was that?

16 minutes, fouls out, 1 17ing shot, 2 rebounds, 3 points. You can really tell he's improved.

Wendell was bad...But Ware was as advertised, if not better. Sword and Thomas never got going tonight, but they are going to be good for us when they do.

We will be fine if we can keep everyone healthy. Would have fared much better tonight had Johnson been available. Cunningham got picked on when he got into the game, which ideally never ever happens. Tough way to open a season on the road with so many freshman starters that have never been in the spotlight. Thought we played tough and competed well.

I am not a Wendell Lewis hater by any means despite the fact that this is my second negative post about him in the past 12 hours, but I would not at all be surprised if Ware takes his starting spot within a few weeks. Ware's stat line tonight of 10 points on 5-6 shooting along with 7 rebounds and a block, all in his first real collegiate game, is very impressive, while I feel like Lewis hit his ceiling a long time ago. There's a time and a place for Lewis's effort and rebounding, but that time probably shouldn't span a starter's minutes.
