Heard two yesterday, which compelled me to start a thread, these are both from the mid 60s:
The Kids are Alright - 1966. Been covered by everybody since then, but for some reason, this has always been one of my favorites by The Who that never sounds dated.
The 2nd was by an artist I had never heard of, and had to look up on Spotify (Note: I am just now discovering some classic old soul and R&B songs, so don't hold it against me)
Sitting in the Park by Billy Stewart, recorded in 1965. Really sweet sound, found out this guy died at age 33, pretty sad actually.
Anyway, they both put a smile on my face, although very different sounds, from almost the exact same year. Enjoy.
