I got a good laugh reading through it and seeing them praise Dixon for 0 fumbles over his college career and how NFL Network failed by claiming his weakness was fumbling... only to have someone finally come through and break the truth that Dixon is human and has fumbled.

I was on the north end of the west stands at about the 10 yard line when he made that run.
Utterly stunned by his tenacity.
One of the best runs I've ever seen at MSU, and anyone who argues that, I'd like to see the other replay.

there is going to be a noticeable dropoff in the RB position. Dixon played with passion, fought for every yard, and really knew how to finish runs. He doesn't have blazing speed, but he always had enough to get in the endzone. It's amazing the numbers he put up considering how bad our o-line and schemes were his first 3 years.

He didn't get his yards against crappy Pac 10 or WACC schools. I think Dixon will end up being the steal of this draft.

Edit: Why are people listing his 40 time at 4.75? Is that why people dropped him in the draft? I thought he ran a 4.62 and a 4.65 or so at the combine and then the same numbers at our pro day.

I think the reason Dixon fell to the 6th round is that there are plenty of plalyers out there with similar skill sets, and his combine numbers weren't that good. Give him better combine numbers and he's probably drafted near Hardesty and Tate.

Among those 3, Dixon, Hardesty, and Tate, the ones that will make a living in the NFL are the ones that work the hardest. I don't think any of them have great enough skills to make it for a long career if they don't find a way to separate themselves from the other backs out there with similar skill sets.

is not prone to fumbling. He had one game this year where his fumbles were ridiculous (Georgia Tech) but other than that, he did a good job. The Houston game was more of Lee's fault than Dixon.

who couldn't hit a bull in the *** with a bass fiddle. These SEC defenses he was going up against, generally put 9 in the box and keyed on him. And he still produced. I really can't believe he fell to the 6th round. I hope he uses this as motivation and proves to all these dumbass GM's that they made a huge mistake.
