I was actually at the game. With the way our defense had played all year, including that game, I thought we had just won the SEC CG. Lo' and behold, I was too young to have experienced enough MSU sports to know that it is literally never over till its over.

I'm so jaded now that I wasn't even celebrating when we ran it down inside the 5 yard line on LSU in Mullen's first year. I actually cussed out my father for trying to high-five me.... sadly, I was correct and we all know how those last 4 plays went.
