I was thinking about going to our men's BB game against Butler at the Greenbrier resort since its close by, but the tickets are like$300! For a BB game!
Are they usually that expensive at early season tournaments?

I'm seeing $185 on their website, but that's still pretty pricey. The ballroom they use for the basketball arena ends up seating about the same as a _small_ high school (like 1200 seats or less), so that may have something to do with the pricing. By the time you seat families, the schools' traveling staffs, Greenbriar associates, etc. you're probably competing with die-hard boosters of both teams for less than 1000 seats.

My daughter worked there some years back. The shops were amazing.

Never been but watched a special on it once and how it had a special bunker constructed under for congressional use in case of a cold war attack. Looked amazing.

Has been a bucket item list for my mom, so my siblings and I are going together to get a gift card for her and my dad to stay a few days there next year.

I used to live on Maui (2009-2015). Tickets for one game (Maui Invitational) were about $150, so that sounds about right. It's crazy how much stuff costs these days. Make sure that there aren't additional fees. I just bought concert tix for Under the Big Sky (which is right down the road from where I live) and the ticket was $350 presale for locals with $70 in additional fees. The facility fees were only $6, so the rest goes to ????
Worse than airline fees, which I sort of understand.
