Greene Central vs Wilson Prep

GC looks very big and athletic. Their offensive line looks really good, quarterback looks comfortable, and seems like their guy is their running back, Cobb.

Wilson Prep lost to a powerhouse Clayton and West Craven. Both schools 2-0 each. WP QB Usher is one of the best dual threats in the east. The team looks like it has no depth, super big lineman playing both ways.

I absolutely do! Watch him play. He’s playing on 1A WP vs 7A CLAYTON, 1A WP vs 5A West Craven, in those two games 218 yards passing 181 rushing yards no turnovers.

Last year he was a 2k passing 1k rushing guy.

Yeah they definitely have been impressive based on highlights I've seen. I do believe they'll win the next three games. The big test however is October 3rd. They May be a sleeper in the 3a East come playoff time.

He hasn’t gotten off to the best start this year. Of course Havelock is not losing because of their defense. They are solid on defense and had really good pass coverage against us. Last week against Wilson Prep we fumbled the opening kickoff and that seemed to be a precursor to how the game was gonna go. It’s bad to win a game 33-14 and feel like you should have lost. It was a long 3 hours. I watched that Wilson Prep qb all night up close. I was running the end zone camera for WC.

WP testing the waters early in the season to prepare them for the playoffs. I believe they'll keep improving as their competition gets closer to their level. I don't expect them to win this game, but I expect that they'll have a better showing than in their first two games.

I expect the rams to win this one, but I think this will be their closest test so far this year. As Trey has mentioned, they are thin. If not too banged up, I think they can push the rams a little bit, but again, I fully expect GC to pull this one out.

That’s why I said ONE of the top dual QBs. I think you are overlooking what WP QB is doing and with what talent he has with him. You are judging him off team success, like I said he played 7A and 5A team. Your logic doesn’t add up to me.

Then Greene Central has fallen off from what they once were. Never a power house but was definitely a good team to play. I’m assuming they are 3A? I need to look.
