To know me is to love me

. My point is simple. I didn’t tell anyone they can’t criticize Schiano or Rutgers. brgRC90 automatically goes to his Schiano hate speech. There is a distinct difference in thinking especially with Rutgers fans who understand how hard it is to make something from nothing. For some reason he has never even hinted he hoped we succeed with Greg Schiano. Calling me grandpa works as we just welcomed in another grandchild a BOY on Friday 8lbs 9oz 22” so I’m good.
Congrats on the new grandchild, sir.
I don't understand why people argue with "fans" like brg, and the posters Shelby and yessir, who are clearly not fans, but troublemakers.
As far as those fans who don't "like" Schiano (or for that matter, any other head coach of Rutgers), I will never understand separating the love for Rutgers and letting the hate for the coach override wanting the team to succeed.
I met Ash a couple/few times, and he was not a warm guy and I thought he was a bit of an arrogant tool, but I did not want to see him fail. As far as Greg, I have met him many times, and I can say is he warm, genuine, caring and he knows what he is doing with moving the program ahead. No fan, including me, was happy with the on field results last year, and surely Greg was not either. I may not agree with the way the offense has been handled, but WTF do I know? I do know that the OL was a huge issue when he took over, and I hope this is the year we see some improvement.
