did you ever open up a thread and wish you hadn't?
did you ever notice an old man with anger issues, who you would like to hug, but would be afraid of the consequences?
I'll give Bob this- he's a good fan. But man does he like to fight. That cage match between him and @brgRC90 in the other thread was epic. But I was rooting for brg, just because.

To know me is to love me 😊 . My point is simple. I didn’t tell anyone they can’t criticize Schiano or Rutgers. brgRC90 automatically goes to his Schiano hate speech. There is a distinct difference in thinking especially with Rutgers fans who understand how hard it is to make something from nothing. For some reason he has never even hinted he hoped we succeed with Greg Schiano. Calling me grandpa works as we just welcomed in another grandchild a BOY on Friday 8lbs 9oz 22” so I’m good.

Congrats on the new grandchild, sir.
I don't understand why people argue with "fans" like brg, and the posters Shelby and yessir, who are clearly not fans, but troublemakers.
As far as those fans who don't "like" Schiano (or for that matter, any other head coach of Rutgers), I will never understand separating the love for Rutgers and letting the hate for the coach override wanting the team to succeed.
I met Ash a couple/few times, and he was not a warm guy and I thought he was a bit of an arrogant tool, but I did not want to see him fail. As far as Greg, I have met him many times, and I can say is he warm, genuine, caring and he knows what he is doing with moving the program ahead. No fan, including me, was happy with the on field results last year, and surely Greg was not either. I may not agree with the way the offense has been handled, but WTF do I know? I do know that the OL was a huge issue when he took over, and I hope this is the year we see some improvement.

Fine and genuine post Knight Shift . You are a poster who actually is balanced in his assessments of the programs and wants success for Rutgers. Since I’m older and because I see things differently than some with Rutgers and of course the current world . It draws the attention of those whose mind has been formed more than likely in the 80’s -90’s and up. Rutgers has always been special to me . This latest back n forth began from the posting regarding fanbases . As supportive as Rutgers people are we are sometimes our worst critics. We have a great forum board and it gives all an opportunity to express feelings.

Color me too optimistic, but I see a Bowl game this year with a 7-5 season. I'll take 6-6 but I really believe we'll shock one of the big boys who over look us, panic late in a game when they realize what is happening.6-2,then Maryland to finish 7-5.

To do what you say will take hard work, minimal injuries, an improvement in offensive production, less penalties, better coaching decisions and a lot of luck. Can it happen ? We will soon see .

The most important thing in getting to 6 wins is we need to beat the teams we are capable of beating in year 4 . We can’t take any team for granted. I believe the staff Schiano has put together is very capable to coach these players to their max.

Mayor McCheese is on the case to release the perps before their arrest.

Listen grandpa, it's not odd on a Rutgers football message board. Not everyone drinks warm milk at 8 p.m. and is asleep by 9.
Now I remember why I put Bob on ignore.

OP lets fellow RU fans know that the head coach is going to be interviewed on tv = adding value to the board

Bob calls him out for it = odd

Hope Beck is ok and the two attackers are caught.
