With Rolesville's total dismantling of Butler and Grimsley's twenty two point victory over Mt. Tabor, this one should be an early season classic.

Word on the street is, Mister Sammy K, is that LaLa " Angeline "FaLaLa, some dude from Kinston, and this lady from, I think New York City, and they were ridin' in one of them great big, gray limousines . Turned out Ms. Falala jumped from the running vehicle and wound up having one of the most successful flounder giggin' corporations in the United States, but again, all this could possibly be shade tree jive from the street. It also seemed like she purchased some of her food stuffs from some cat named Benton, Fenton, or Vento, but all this activity took place decades ago.

Always good when the big boys play each other rather than a cupcake for the 2s and 3s. These two could meet again in the finals. Kudos for coaches and schools for being willing to take this on

I see Butler got destroyed by Richmond last night. Rolesville may be over inflated from last week. Going to be a great game. Grimsley has not lost a regular season game since 2019.
35-13 Grimsley currently moving in the redzone. Are they elite? Is Rolesville great? Is Butler horrible? So many questions. NC football is off to a crazy start.
I think Butler was horrible. Rolesville is still a really good team. Grimsley must be a bad matchup for Rolesville
Ok now that that’s over. Rolesville is the most talented team in eastern NC and perhaps the entire state . No doubt. But I know a little bit about both coaching staffs and one is much more experienced than the other. I have also coached in both parts of the state and year in and year out the west has a deeper bench of teams. Right now the east has Rolesville. I don’t think anyone out here will beat them. Out west you have Weddington Grimsley East Forsyth Mallard creek Tabor Ect Ect Ect I still think Rolesville will make it to the state championship because they are in the east if they were out west not so much due to the talent that is out there and the coaching at the schools I have mentioned
QB Brandon is growing into his role as a team leader. Remember he is just a junior and had the luxury of two D1 receivers(both over 1000 yds) and a 2k/42TD back in Summers (who now has 7 TDs after two weeks). The pressure of being #1 QB of ‘26 in the nation and trying to bring along young receivers while being the centerpiece of an NIL lawsuit that received national attention this week has to be off the charts.

To add to this. Put the top 4 teams from the CPC in Raleigh and the teams out here in Raleigh would have problems.
