Grimsley vs Rolesville 4a Title

Give me the Whirlies, but closer than most think.
I think Grimsley wins, but Rolesville should make adjustments to keep it closer than their game earlier this season.
Grimsley has really improved their physicality on both sides of the ball. We nearly matched Hough and were superior in the 2nd half against Weddington. I think that’s where Rolesville will be challenged, but they have guys who can put points on the board. It will be interesting to see the difference between August and December. Grimsley won by 15
in the first tilt. The margin will narrow but the outcome will remain the same.

I haven’t seen a lot of Rolesville but losing by two scores at home to this same Grimsley team isn’t the best look, unless Grimsley comes out overconfident and playing sloppy then I don’t see how they lose this one.
Last year Grimsley beat Rolesville 63-34 at home and 35-20 early this year on the road. Magic number is 35, if the Whirlies get to this number they’ll win. Rolesville has a better offense than hough and Weddington but a much worse defense.

Saw Rolesville verse Gibbons in their first matchup and Grimsley the past 2 weeks verse
Hough and Weddington, Unsure if Grimsley needs to be as conservative as they were last week verse Weddington in the first half, Let the stud qb loose. But then again the Grimsley rb had 300 yds versus Hough so what do i know??. After seeing Rolesville early in the year i didnt have much doubt they wud be the east representative in this game.Should be a really good one both over 30..

With you being a northwest guilford supporter are you happy to see Grimsley in state title or not? Just curious
I am thinking that Rolesville is just one of those places that anyone can win at. I mean The old coach that was there has a losing record and the guy that is there now I cant find any info on. Rolesville Must just have kids. I am thinking that the Sam*k guy not that good of a coach if this is happening

So quick glance before work, looks like best season before him was 6-6, did not see any playoff wins, for sure did not see any state championship appearances. It may be a place anyone can win now, but it was not like that before he showed up.
I don’t think there is a school in NC where anyone can win. Coaching is probably 80% of the winning equation. If your post was meant to give props to the current coach I am definitely on board.
lived roughly 1hr away as a child and remember hearing the wake forest rolesville area referred
to often, now its over 40yrs later and you hear the 2 separate, i did know Rolesville was built at some point with general knowledge. I did the google work to find out the rest.
