Great win last night. It should not be overlooked that the Grizz dominated a team that was above .500 and playing for their lives in a must-win game. Randolph finally decided to show up and play last night. If the Grizz are playing to their potential, I think they match up well with the Clips (despite the season series results). If they get by the Clips, a series with the Thunder would be fun to watch. Whatever happens, playoff basketball is finally upon us.

56 wins...not too shabby. It's totally ridiculous that a record like that only gets you fifth place in the West. The Grizz would've been the two seed in the east.

Love the match ups in the West first round

Harden out for revenge with Houston? First one to 140 wins each game for Denver/Golden State? Revenge series for the Grizz? And then what will be a snooze fest sweep for San Antonio over LA. Can't have 'em all be that interesting I guess.

Have they just given Miami a guy into the Finals? I would like to see the Pacers make it the East Finals and at least rough them up a bit.

I may be a homer, but I really think the Grizz are built for a playoff run. Halfcourt defense is at a premium, and if our offense goes through the post every time, we will be fine there. Somebody needs to tell Tony Allen that he isn't allowed to shoot EVER unless it's a breakaway layup. He is going to need to be on the floor a lot against the Clips to guard Chris Paul.

I like matchups with the Thunder and hell, even the Heat. The Clippers series is going to be a war, though.

The playoffs last year combined with our results this season have left me with no confidence we'll win this series. It's going to take around 50% scoring and 35-40% from 3 to win combined with 45-50 from the bench. Forcing them into a half court offense will help our cause. They push the ball upcourt looking to score before you can get set, and Saturday night we looked lost trying to get back.

It was a hell of a season

And I can't wait to see how this series plays out. As has already been said it will be a war between these two teams

If the Grizz put up the above numbers, they will sweep the series going away. The good thing is that they won't have to. If Paul and Billups can be neutralized and the bigs can keep a body on Griffin, everything will be ok. The Clips don't like playing physical. The key for the Grizz is not the offensive numbers they put up, but the defensive numbers they put up. They have to slow it down and get physical with them, force them into tough shots, and keep them off the glass. That's the biggest key, and the one that cost them two games against the Clips during the regular season....they allowed too many offensive rebounds and second chance points. The playoffs are a completely different animal though.

Remember, two years ago the Grizz were handled easily during the regular season by the Spurs, but they put them out of the playoffs in six games that year, and it wasn't even that close. I'm not saying that is what will happen here, but even last year, the series with the Clips went seven games and just as easily could've gone the other way.

Z-Bo has to be on his game for this series. The bench also needs to contribute because the Clippers are very deep. But the Clips are a little different than last year because they don't have Young and Mo Williams bombing threes and Reggie Evans in the post. It's just a different dynamic from their bench. I think it will go 7 games again and being a homer ill pick the grizzlies. It will be a knock down drag out slobber knocker of a series.
