Tony Allen left practice early today. Apparently something wrong with his eye. I went ahead and added that to the list of excuses y'all will use.

Not a Griz fan, but no ZBo and no Tony Allen sounds like a pretty good excuse to me.

It was a joke. You know humor. But since it needs to be explained I will explain. Usually Grizz fans whine about back to backs and the refs. Which anytime you blame the refs you show your immaturity. And everyone plays back to backs. So when I hear this every day at work. And then on the local espn all day long it gets annoying. Now obviously without Z Bo and injured TA and Conley the chances of them winning are slim. Didn't think I needed to point that out.

Yeah because the Grizzlies fans....

...are the only ones who complain about the refs. Everyone in the nba does.

Judging by your response I don't think you were joking. Everybody whines about officiating and I guess I missed it on the radio when people complain about back to backs. You must work with some dumbasses.

One thing to complain about them. Another to always use that as an excuse. I know all grizz fans aren't like this but it gets old. When you get beat shake the other teams hand and give them credit. A lot grizz fans don't do that.

+1. The friends I have who claim the Griz are some of the worst offenders when it comes to excuse making. They love conspiracies too.

As a fan other small market teams, I can understand how it might seem sometimes... But the NBA isn't rigging the lottery and it's not rigging games.

Neither is the NCAA, SEC, NFL, or MLB.

The ones that seem to be the worst about that are Memphis Tigers fans too.

Tigers fans think the world is out to get them. It's always been that way.

A lot of NBA fans don't do that

That fact that you are saying the Grizzlies are worst than most is idiotic. Go ask Thunder fans about game 5

I just hate the fact that after this first round good teams like the Rockets, Grizzlies, either the Mavericks or Spurs, and either the Clippers or Warriors will be out while crap teams like the Hawks, Wizards, or Raptors get to keep going. The Heat have got it made all the way to the Finals.

True but it's the playoffs, good teams will lose at some point. I think it's more a shame that the Suns aren't in the playoffs after winning almost 50 games. I get Popovich winning coach of the year but I thought Jeff Hornecek deserved it. He did a phenomenal job in Pheonix.

After the way the season ended their was talk by the NBA about changing the playoffs. No conference playoffs. You are seeded based on record. An east vs west may meet in the first round.

Personally I'd like to see it go that way, but I think it was more talk than anything else.

It's a shame that the first team out of the west would've been a 4 or 5 in the east.

Griz-Thunder is a premier matchup, and to say that the NBA has some conspiracy to extend the playoffs for KD is belittling how good KD and the rest of the Thunder is.

The Grizzlies are a more physical team. THAT's why they get ticky tack fouls called on them... Not because their from Memphis.

This game is making a decent case to me that the NBA is rigged. Not because of the refs, but because the Grizz suddenly started settling for awful shot after awful shot since the score was 44-34, and stopped playing defense around the same time. Only half joking.

And OP, you're the worst kind of moron if you think Grizz fans are any worse about complaining than any other fanbase.
