Now they're 3-0, playing for 4-0 tonight on the trip. They've got some very winnable games coming up too following this road trip. The home and home with Utah will be a challenge. After that, it's @Charlotte, and then home for a 4 game home stand. The way they are playing, they are starting to look like a playoff team.

They're 16-8 now since that 1-8 start. That 16-8 winning percentage would put them at the 3 seed in the West, so they're definitely playing like a playoff team.

How many vomitted when Z-Bo hit the deck on that damp spot of the Floor late?

On the Road against Portland and their crowd.
Suspect D in the first Half? No Problem
Missing a ton of Free Throws? No Problem
Late run by the home team to go up 8 with 3 and change to go in the 4th? No Problem

Mayo shut down Brando Roy at the end. That play to draw the foul with 20 seconds left and the game tied at 104 was outstanding. Here's a great line from a blaser's site about that play.
Despite metal detectors for the fans, there were no additional security measures in place for media (as far as I could tell). After the foul call on Roy at the end, though, I was thanking my lucky stars that the home crowd had been metal detected. I haven't heard so much loud, vile language since I listened to a Dontonio Wingcast interlude. The Rose Garden jumbotron operator tried and failed to quickly pan past a man who was giving the two-handed one-finger-salute to the referees only to encounter a young lady excitedly doing exactly the same thing. This after cutting away from another man who seemed to be quite upset -- outright shouting! -- about his ducking tadpole. Oh, the humanity.

That guy always seems to come up big when needed. I am at the point now where I would rather see him take the winning shot than Rudy. And yes ZBO falling last night scared the hell out of me
