the magic get rafer alston from the rockets, the rockets get brian cook from the magic and kyle lowry from the grizzlies, and the grizzlies get a 1st round pick from the magic.

as a rockets fan, i don't really like this. we already have hayes, scola, and landry at PF, and cook is averaging a stellar 3 ppg this year. lowry is interesting, but will he compete for starting PG? alston had 13 and 11 assists in his last 2 games. i don't know if brooks or lowry can do much better, although brooks has shown flashes. i guess alston's 4.9M salary was a factor.

grizz fans, what do you think?

They Griz will be sending a future first round draft pick to check into a game this year. Their average age is around three years younger than an architecture student who doesn't go home games.

that guy should eat a bullet. there has to be something better in memhis to listen to get some grizz talk other than that assclown. As well as Conley has played since Ivy got canned, all he could talk about was when he went down the lane last night trying to draw the foul and Przybilla took the ball from him.

If Conley hadn't taken off the way he has since Hollins took over, I'd probably be a little bent about it. I like the spark he brings, although since the ankle injury he hasn't really had it since returning to the lineup. I really hope Alston is a gas can and the Magic end the season the way they did last night in New Orleans, what ever it takes to get the value of that pick higher...........

You really don't have many other choices. Listen to the Sports Bar on 56 with Wineburger and his stupid comments is too much.

More young talent. The NBA team that has a starting lineup younger than the Memphis Tigers just needs more young guys.

I gave up on Memphis sports radio. Vernon, Weinberger, Askew, all freaking idiots. The worst of all is that douche Peter Edmiston that's on in the morning. He made me want to stick a fork in my eye.

As a Lakers fan, I can tell you Brian Cook can be a decent player if used correctly. He has the ability to really stretch the floor with his shooting. I didn't pay much attention to him when he went to Orlando, but considering he averaged 3 ppg it doesn't look like I missed much. It may have just been the triangle offense, but Cook is a serviceable role player.

Vernon is pretty entertaining. he has never been high on Conley and it will take a little more than a 7 game stretch to change that. he is much better than any of these other clowns on Memphis radio

They are definetly getting wooly again. They're coming out of the wood works to defend everything being said. There have been a couple of idiots saying CUSA from top to bottom is better than the ACC.
