Sold for 350 million to a guy from California. Loves to play basketball and loves the n ba. Wants to keep the team in Memphis. Maybe he'll be mark Cuban like.

Maybe he'll trade Rudy Gay, free up some cap space and bring in shooters along with a back up point guard.

First of all the guy is still young and just getting to hit his prime. Trading him for a lottery pick is a big risk. Add to that at this point Zbo is still not the player he was and there are still questions if he can be player he was preinjury. It would have to be one hell of a deal before I pull the trigger.

Hopefully so much that it will be a while before it ever makes sense to move it...

and that's actually defined by attendance. Three figures are at play here: 1) average paid attendance of 14,900; 2)
sales of the largest 64 suites; 3) club seat season ticket sales of
2,500. The Grizz exceeded all of those this year. So after 2021, if they're hitting those numbers, the team pretty much has to stay. If it's below those, the city/state can make up the difference, or ask a judge to block the move.

Theoretically, I think the team could move earlier, but the cost would be astronomical.
