Raw octopus with soy sauce. Photo taken by me at near Dahab, Sinai, Egypt, late 1982. After 6 weeks of old C-rats -- NO, not MREs -- this creature seemed like gold from above. Conch was awesome, too. Amazing back-story about the gent in the pic.

Donfather, there is nothing gross about neckbone and oxtail . Trying to stick to the OP , lol

If you're ever in Titusville, FL, check out Loyd Have Mercy. The ox tail is awsome, as are the chikin livers and gizzards. Great catfish and smothered pork chops too, and really good collards that are on par with my own as well as the other sides.
