Why isn't Petrino's name coming up in any coaching searches? That SOB would leave Rkansas in a heart beat. Hell, he has been there three seasons now. That is an eternity for him.

Not to mention, he is not the type that gives a damn about anything other than winning. Luther Campbell could be running the joint again. They would be back to the oldU in no time.

a little bump. The guy does a good job in the booth and it means alot of money to them with ratings so they probably helped ease his mind.

Miami is not the destination job many are making it out to be. Why would Gruden want to go there when he could get about any college or projob he wanted? Listening to Doug Gotlieb he states a lot of things about Miamai that have been said here. It is a very small private university. They play 30 minutes away from campus. 26K is a big crowd for them. They put tarps on the upper deck of the stadium to cover the empty seats. They are in a crap conference with no TV exposure. It is no longer the 1980s. YES, MSU is a better job than Miami! If you have been to a MSU game this year you know what I am talking about. The environment there is electric. Mullen may leave us someday, but it would be for a destination job. Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn St, Alabama, LSU, etc... We can pay Mullen as much as Miami if not more. What the national media doesnt get is how good of a job MSU is. They act like we cant win. We won with Sherill and we are winning with Mullen. We had a big time hiccup with Croom. Mullen is not going to come out and say he is not interested in any job. One word. Leverage. He knows he is in a great position. The more he is talked about the bigger the $ Stricklin has to come to the table with. Mullen is about to get a big time raise and I feel is with us until that destination job comes.

45 to an hour. I have an in law that lives not far from the U. He gave up his Dolphin season tickets because of the drive and he has closer acess to the Turnpike than the campus does. </p>
