UGA is hiring Kirby Smart almost assuredly

Good for Georgia. I have no idea whether it will work out with smart, but losing two or three games a year shouldn't be something to get complacent with at a place like Georgia.

If true, it will be interesting to see how it works out long term. It will also set up serious recruiting battles between he and Saban.

Smart to me is a pretty big risk. the fruit off the saban coaching tree has had some pretty mixed HC results.

I think the consensus in the whole SEC is that Smart would make an excellent HC. The question is will he leave Bama knowing he's the most likely coach in waiting.
