So you're saying you would like us to lose? I think it's impressive that he didn't lose the team after a tough 4 game stretch.
Yes.............Skyler and Wendell played great ball today and lead the Mountaineers to victory. In fact, the game ball should go to the entire defense. Correction, the game ball should go to the entire team. Holgs lives for another year or two.
We were lucky , if Texas was any good, we would have lost. Texas gave this game away, WV did not exactly win it. in spite of howard and dana and the defence.
Look at the score. Pay closer attention, and try to keep up.
Your incessant bitching and moaning on loss days has not been missed since you, for whatever reason, got lost.....which also makes the new Ignore function an absolute blessing after a post like this.

Maybe we did win ONLY because of TO's...it's a good thing TO's are part of the game.
Yeah, I've been as frustrated as I can be with some is Dana's decisions but to actively root to lose so he won't return is bad. If he wins out, he has earned at least another year. That said, my blood pressure will need help!
No what he's saying is WVU goes 8 or 9 and 4 and people should focus on the 4 losses and not the 8 or 9 wins.

listening to press conference now. Dana is aware of the criticism & is annoyed for sure. some snappy, curt answers & a little defensive. strange after notching an important win. kind of like an I showed you approach. if you listened to that & didn't see the game, you probably think we'd have lost. he's usually not like that.
Wendell Smallwood is saving the season & may be the chief reason Dana is retained, so long as this uptick continues and 8 wins are recorded. I still maintain a fourth straight campaign with 7 or fewer wins is not enough to earn future seasons. but for today, I'm happy for the players & happy to kick Texas' ***.
The last two games were won because we ran better than they did. It never fails. Eliminate turnovers, run the football, control possession, rely on your defense to make a few plays. Was my hope to see a simplified, turnover free, run heavy approach since the summer. For once, the roles were reversed today & it was TX shooting itself in the foot & we cashed in huge on their mishaps.
I hope to see more and more of the ground assault. WVU never should've gotten away from its identity. It's taken a while & is propelled by the threat of change to get back to this brand of football, but better late than never.

i would snap back as well. Pretty sad when our play by play guy (Caridi) argues with Dana on sports line about the difference between a qb draw and qb power play. I mean seriously Caridi, get with the times. As Dana said, it's another run play. Texas even ran it today and the ESPN announcers knew it was qb power. Then Caridi telling Dana how to coach by running the ball more? Seriously, just STFU and let the experts handle this. Our wv media guys apparently still don't know how this offense works lol.
Let me clear things up a little. WV won the last two games because they won and the other team lost. Every game has plays that make and/or break the game. It goes both ways. My daddy always told me he was proud of my play....................whether I was running or passing. Most of the time I just gave it off to others................cause I had some big ole boys bearing down on me. Know what I mean................ Carl?
