Guess who gets special mention for CWS attendance?

I can't decide....

if they're just really low on that 5,000 number, or if they're trying to say we had 5,000 more fans show up just for the finals. There were over 27k fans in the stands for the final game last year, and there's no way we only made up 1/5 of the crowd.

I think he is saying we had 5k MORE show up for the finals. We definitely had way more than 5k there for the finals. Had to be in the 10-15k range.

I didn't watch much last night but I did see one shot of RF line and there were a bunch of seats on the far end

It was briefly discussed by @EmptySeatsGalore (obviously with pics) last night. ESPNU was quick to mention the total #'s, and it was then pointed out that there were two more games this year than last year.
This stands out:

Wednesday's crowd of 18,344 was third lowest this year

so if I'm reading this right, the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME didn't finish in the top 10 of CWS attendance this year?
