For a local seafood place - Taranto's Crawfish <span class="pp-headline-item pp-headline-address">12404 John Lee Road, Biloxi, MS 39532-9646
I prefer it over previously mentioned places like Back Bay or Blow Fly Inn.

Also the Jourdan River Steamer is great but probably too far from where you'll be staying.

If you're looking for reasonably priced but good, I would do Taranto's (boiled or fried) then Schooner (mostly fried). White Cap is ok, but stick to shrimp and oysters, avoid any of their fish. If you want fish, I would go to Phoenicia.

Of the ones mentioned, Little Ray's has gone down hill, and I'd caution against 32 andVrazell's unless you're on an expense account and just want the atmosphere. Emeril's is fine but I'd stick to shrimp or grits, or fish dishes.

Owns Anthony's in West Point. Good food runs in their family. They used to run Anthony's Under the Oaks, not sure if they still do anymore though.

I have to go to a convention in Biloxi for work. What is the best seafood restaurant down there? I've googled and found Mary Mahoney's, Ole Biloxi Schooner, among others. What do ya'll recommend? Most look good.

And to make it sports related, I ate an entire half-seafood platter from Deanie's in New Orleans before Croom and his boys cashed in their check against Tulane in 2007. I was still standing, and the only time I got sick was on Gabe O'Neal's pick six return when I started jumping up and down. That was a bad idea after eating twelve pounds of seafood. I was able to contain myself after that.

Good times.
...which is at the end of Dedeaux Road at Lorraine Road. This is a no frills steak and shrimp place, with open wood fire grill and a menu of just Steak and Shrimp or both in various sizes. They have a terrific crab salad, and some of the most eye pleasing wait staff on the coast.
