Right now the police have the Flowood walmart blocked off. Word at Kroger down the street is that there is a person or people in there with guns making threats.

There's a good 3 miles between Kroger and Walmart in Floodwood.

I've got a call in to a bud who will know what's up.

Stand by, MFers.

16 year old dubmass phoned in bomb threat to Floodwood PD from within the walmart. They had him in custody within minutes. Then a second bomb threat was phoned in moments later from inside the walmart and FPD is currently searching for the person.

Summertime. dubmass idiots with too much time on their hands.

Of course, when they're certified as adults for incarceration and bond purposes and they're still sitting in the big boy jail two weeks from now, well it won't be funny then.

They are mistaken. Flowood PD regulates that stretch of Hwy 25 all the way out to Hwy 471.

Edit: What Flabloser said. Your Brandon is not yourBrandon anylonger. Flowood grows daily.

....it's just that when I meet people who say they're "from Brandon", at least 50% of the time, they wind up living north of Lakeland Drive.

Here's a hint, people. If you're not in the city limits of Flowood, and you live north of Lakeland Drive, you don't live in Brandon. You live "at the Reservoir". Stop telling people you live in Brandon. You don't.

[Edit: "At Castlewoods" is also an acceptable answer. But not "in Brandon".]

Flowood expanded their city limits recently. They basically took everything 400-500 yards either side of Hwy 25 all the way to 471.

You annex the commercial and leave the residential [until you absolutely have to take it at some point]. Adds tax revenue without adding voters.

the vast majority of those sex offenders that show "Pearl" as their residence are actually in the Central MS Correctional Facility.
