With the uncertainty of the future of the Big 12 andthe fact they just fired a coach after only 2 years, I wouldhold out as long as I could for a job like UNC or Arizona St where you could actually build asustainable team in conference. You could do really well at Kansas once, maybe twice in a 5 year period. At UNC, you have access to a lot more recruits and a much better chance to find long term success in a bit of a weaker conference.

Texas realized now that they have nowhere else to go after the PAC-12 and the ACC shut them down cold a few months ago. And surprisingly, they're smart enough to realize that going independent would be a huge mistake. So they're suddenly real committed to keeping the Big 12 together. That said, Kansas has got to be one of the worst jobs in a BCS conference.</p>
