Guys a serious question here.........I know we expect great offenses from Mullen

and it seems he is going after the type of personnel to run the spread, but what are your expectations for the spring game will you be disappointed if we have a 6-3 game again or are you expecting 30-27 type score? And if we don't see a major offensive showing will this dampen your enthusiasm drastically or is he given a pass till the fall or even through next season? I for one want to see some offense during spring and i believe we will. Your Thoughts.

Guys a serious question here.........I know we expect great offenses from Mullen

its going to take a couple of years to make the complete transition. However, we will see immediate results this Spring. There will not be a 6-3 Spring game this year- thats a complete certainty.

I'd realistically expect us to improve by 50 yards a game and to average 20 or more points a game next year. From where we are coming from, that will be drastic improvement

not falling asleep in the stands at the spring game and wondering just how long the season is going to feel like. And afterwards not hearing that there is absolutely nothing wrong with not scoring all freaking game and there is nothing to be worried about.

Everyone who has half a brain knows that we will actually see improvement next year and not have the belief force fed to us...not all the sudden becoming a world beater.

This spring will be the first time ever to run his offense so I expect to see some mistakes. Like Coach I believe we'll see some scoring. I do hope that if we do score 3-4 TD's in the spring game that everyone won't then turn it all upside down and begin bitching about how our defense will suck in 2009. That seems to be the way things go around this site.

I truly believe we will go no worse than 6-6 and get to a bowl game. THAT will build into a much better 2010 and then maybe 8 - 9 wins with an even bigger bowl. After that, we will be off to the races with 7-9 wins a year.....maybe more.

whether we have the first team offense/defese vs the second team offense/defense vs. first team offense vs first team defense.

I do expect there to be at least 21 points scored. Probably more by the first team.

is the penalties that we are sure to occur. In this offense, there are a lot of shifts and motion, that our players won't be used to. I think we can expect our fair share of false start penalties this season as everyone learns. Even this year, Florida ranked 11th in the league in penalties. How many of those were offensive, I'm not sure.
