GW D shut absolutely everything Grayson had down on their drive. GW brings the punt back to the 50 and Luke Jollay takes it to the house on a QB keeper 2 plays later from 48 yards out. Wasn't even close to being touched. 8:37 1st Q

GW kicks off Grayson get a blocking in the back penalty and they start from their own 10. GW again in the backfield to stop the 1st play for a 2 yard loss. Then we pick the second play off at the 10 and score 2 plays later and it's called back on a hold and then a dead ball unsportsmanlike bring it back to the 35. Penalties killed a scoring drive. 4 and out

Yes they are in proud of them I don't want to jinx anything so knock on wood. But they are coming together at the right time. If this game was played week 3-4 is say Grayson by 2tds. Now we need to go out next Friday and get FC for the second time and head to the playoffs with momentum. Now FC seems to be a fair bit improved but I think GW is really really improved. The defense was a nightmare for Grayson tonight they only had like 2 or 3 plays for positive yards against the varsity that wasn't because of penalties and may 1 or 2 first downs. Majority of their yards came from their varsity vs our JV so we're moving the right way.

From my understanding Grayson has been much better on defense than offense this year, seems like yall found away to put up plenty of points on a D that alot of people were saying was pretty stout. I think they have struggled a little more on the offensive side of the ball. Looks like GW showed up and done what they needed to on both sides of the ball. Congrats on the win. You can bet Galax will get Graysons best game next week as there is no love lost between these two rivals and we need to show up like yall did and be ready to play.

Best I seen GW look this year. On the defensive side of the ball the LB number 10 made probably 20 of the first 25 tackles all in the backfield. Graysons line never once got a pad on him. GW lived in Grayson backfield all night. The speed of the blitz really hurt Grayson.

Offensively GW was hitting alot of passes and was setting the edge every play against GC. GW did a very nice job here.

They simply out ran GC defense. If it was not for some very good open field shoe string tackles by Grayson corners this game would have been way worse.

#10 Fowler is a man out there he is all over the place for us each week. And yeah our punter Colton Green has some that more than once this year. Against RR he did it 2 plays in a row to the exact same spot and hash lol. Penalty called the 1st punt back so he did it again. And the Galax game was a bit of both GW couldn't get out of our own way and Galax is that good.
