About the game. GW was exactly like everyone in the world who pays attention to them thought they would be....Not sure they missed a tackle all night. Seriously, maybe two. I'd love to know.
Offensively, I see GW getting a little better as they year goes on, and clicking by the time playoffs hit. by clicking, i simply mean they will be slightly better than they were last night. They'll still have some penalties, but Coach Het lets the o get away with them i think in order to maintain and aggressive - conservative game plan....run run run tight end play action for 17....
I have nothing to say about GW's defense.
Brook was a huge disappointment. I picked brook by 7. I was really expecting brook to open up the playbook and just straight up sling it around. Didn't happen. Brook did not throw a single pass longer than 15 yards. Fact. that said, the brook QB, IMO, can be a baller. If brook opens it up, they can be dangerous....but to say someone "can be dangerous" can me a lot of things.
Defensively, you got a solid performance. GW is not going to light up many scoreboards, but they will wear teams down and things can get out of hand. If i am not mistaken, GW's points came off a brook INT and then off a Brook bad snap punt play that rolled through the kicker's legs....If not for those two plays, I think GW wins 7-0...but even winning by that margin, the outcome of this game last night was never going to be different.
Huge props to the GW student section...150 deep?
