Ugly win but it’s on to a much improved Patrick County. Wesley Graves had an huge night. Martinsville has two very good backs in Davis and Hairston (track stars) that ran on GW’s defense. Martinsville converted on two gutsy 4th down plays. Very good effort from the young Dawgs! Hell of a job Coach Tanner is doing in Martinsville. GW moves on with a 3-1 record. Danville Tough!

From @Chuck Vipperman (GW)

“Wesley Graves had 307 yards on 13 carries and five touchdowns. He becomes the fourth player in Eagle history to rush for 300 or more yards in a game. (Can you name the other three?)

Also, my final count had GW with 599 yards rushing. That would tie an all-time school record set in 2008 against Halifax County. Since we're talking about a school record, I'm going to look over the game film and come up with an accurate final count.”
