Former GW coach Jimmy Teague Retired at Reidsville then came and coached the Eagles for a couple of years now he’s back helping his Son who is currently the head coach at Reidsville
You don't meet many people as good as Bobby and his family. Heard BJ was coaching around Greensboro but didn't know where.
GW and Heritage was a good scrimmage GW looked really good on Defense and had flashes on offense Heritage QB is fast and very allusive
GW has the tools to compete with anyone in class 4 but they have not taken the next step IMO. Gretna had 20 players last night and looked like the better team at times last night. That’s not downing GW’s program or team but they have some star power this year where powers like Salem and EC Glass are “down”. QB play will again be a weak spot and the secondary has some talent, just needs to be consistent. IMO, if GW wants to win the region championship, they need to run the football and place the Lipscomb kid at QB. Between Lipscomb, Keshawn Waller and the Brandon kid, they should be avg’ing 15-20 carries a game, a piece.

Glass has beaten Salem and has a state semi appearance in the past 3 years. Glass has beaten GW more times than GW has beaten them since the series started back up in what, 2013? GW has the team to beat anyone in 4D and 4C this year. I just didn’t see that they’ve taken that next step in the previous two scrimmages. I hope I am wrong and they come out of 4D this year. If tackling doesn’t improve, I’m afraid Reidsville will put up 56+ on GW next week.
Indeed. IMO, they are probably the most rounded team in the region. Results matter though.
