Im pretty sure they play East Forsyth in the jamboree. Not sure about their scrimmage before the
Your right EG and Walkertown will be really good both Reidsville and GW have tough non conference schedules GW has Reidsville Amherst EC Glass Lord Botetourt and William Fleming right off the bat and RHS has NG GW Reagan EG and then Walkertown wow football is here
I'm not sure the Rams are as good as they have been either. It's an early season game so it may come down to who makes the fewest mistakes. I'll give Reidsville a slight edge playing at home and the fact that they will have an actual game under their belt. Having seen GW last year and knowing what they return they may be one of the biggest teams Reidsville will face. They also have plenty of speed.
Their conference sucks. I lived there for years. GW has athletes but they usually lack discipline.

Funny, a lot of people say the same about Reidsville. To help out M Honcho I've made the following comparison.
Walkertown might equal Magna Vista. MV has been more consistent through the years
Rock Co equals Bassett
Carver equals Halifax
McMichael might be a little better than Tunstall
BY might equal Mecklenburg.........maybe
Morehead would compare with Martinsville if Martinsville had not left the district.
Both Reidsville and GW have challenging non conference schedules as they should.
Bottom line Kyle is those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
You don't really know if he is a Reidsville fan or not though.
But to this match up, it's hard to call. I think you'd have to give a slight edge to Gw as of right now, until we see or hear a little more out of the rams.
Im not a Reidsville fan. I just know GW is usually a paper tiger. They almost always lose early in the playoffs to a team from Lynchburg. They are a bigger school than Reidsville they should be better but they aren't most years
Should be a fun game for early in the year but yea GW’s nemesis in the playoffs has been Salem over the years which is Roanoke area and Salem has won multiple state championships over the last decade you are correct Martinsville is no longer in the Peidmont District they dropped to 2a in Va
GW and Glass is one of the longest played rivalries in the State of Va dates back about 100 years GW beat Glass twice last year once in the regular season at Lynchburg City Stadium and the second time at GW in the first round of the State Playoffs GW lost 2 games last year The opener at Dinwiddie who had Harry Dalton who is Now at Southern Cal and Salem in the second round and Salem lost in the Semi Finals last year
True, GW is a bigger school but official enrollment for this upcoming realignment was 1103. Salem not quite the Virginia version of Reidsville but close. Their tradition also goes back decades.
